A Christmas treat for Moorcroft lovers
Join renowned Moorcroft retailer, James Macintyre & Co for two days of festive cheer, majestic surroundings and beautiful art at Cannon Hall Museum, on Friday, 29 and Saturday, 30 November 10am to 5pm.
Experience the grand and stately surroundings of Cannon Hall, which was home to the Spencer family for 300 years and which now holds an outstanding collection of ceramics and glassware, including historical Moorcroft.
There will be an opportunity to view the unveiling of several Moorcroft Christmas designs including Baubles, Candle Glow, Dove of Peace, Seraphim, Snowbank Cottages and Snowflake Moth.
Also available will be a new collection of eight William Moorcroft miniatures entitled Long Time Dreaming pottery, four new Christmas models including one of Father Christmas himself and the newly launched joint special York Minster Rose Window collection. Embrace an opportunity to purchase various one-off trials.
Moorcroft designers will also be in attendance. Meet Vicky Lovatt on Friday (10am-3pm) and Nicola Slaney on Saturday (11am-3pm).
There will be a free-of-charge Peacock Parade vase by designer Nicola Slaney available to any customers who make a purchase of over £250, after any relevant discounts. This particular Peacock Parade is on a rare blue body and is on the shape 7/3 (height 3"/7.5cm). This offer is subject to availability
Visitors to the exhibition will be also be able to treat themselves to warming mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshments prepared in the authentic Victorian kitchen or wander off to one of the finest farms shops in Yorkshire.
