Have you ever wondered what is hiding in the museum store rooms at Cannon Hall? This spring is your opportunity to find out with brand new displays of colourful, imaginative and skilful ceramics to enjoy.
Over the next two years, visitors will be invited to explore changing displays in our new Cracking Ceramics! project space at the museum. Our first displays opening in March will look at how potters have used animals to inspire their work. You can use the collections to draw your own artwork or join in our activity days to create a ceramic piece.
As we research the collections and change the displays, you can let us know what you think of the objects and shape the future of the displays. The project has been made possible with support from the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund – delivered by the Museums Association.
