This 18th Century listed ex stately home now consists of 49 bedrooms, 2 self-catering cottages, unique dining rooms with original Renaissance style ceilings, licensed bar and newly refurbished al a carte restaurant “ The Ruddy Duck”.

The perfect venue for a short break but also a wonderful venue for weddings, conferences and events. Originally the ancestral home of the Earl of Wharncliffe it is now a non-profit run organisation and a member of the Co-operative Union. This is a grand venue steeped in history and its heritage and values are still strong aspects of its identity.
